MA Arts and Heritage: Policy, Management and Education part of YCS, the EU Postgraduate Scholarship Programme for Kosovo
The Young Cells Scheme is the EU Postgraduate Scholarship Programme for Kosovo, aiming to contribute to the creation of an effective, efficient and transparent public administration in Kosovo at all levels. The YCS aims to improve the professional capacity and expertise of civil servants in key sectors of the Kosovo public administration by offering the opportunity to Kosovan graduates to undertake postgraduate masters programme in selected EU Universities. These universities include London School of Economics, King's College, University of Edinburgh, the College of Europe in Bruges, the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Bocconi in Milan, the Central European University in Budapest, ISAE in Toulouse and EDHEC in Nice and …….Maastricht University.
Out of the 86 students who already completed the Scholarship Programme, some 80% currently works for the Government of Kosovo.
For the year 2010/2011 there were 419 applicants for 42 grants. After a highly competitive procedure three grants have been awarded to students of the MA Arts and Heritage: Policy, Management and Education.
