Pierson prize 2009 awarded to Thomas Dohmen

The Pierson prize is awarded biennially to a young, promising researcher in the field of (Financial) Economics, who is on the verge of an international breakthrough. Last Friday, 11 December, the Pierson prize 2009 was awarded to Prof. Thomas Dohmen of the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) for his productive and excellent research in the field of Applied Micro-economics and in particular the Labour Market, Personnel and Organisational Economics, Behavioural Economics and Psychology of Incentives. ROA is a research institute of the

Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, and aims to improve the understanding of the relationship between education and the labour market.
