Lecture about memory development by prof. Mark Howe

On Wednesday 30 November, Prof. Mark Howe of Lancaster University will deliver a lecture about the development of true and false childhood memories and the relating role that emotions, stress and abuse play. Prof. Howe is one of the leading experts in the field of memory and is also author of the book 'The Nature of Early Memory: An Adaptive Theory of the Genesis and Development of Memory', which was published this year and reviewed das excellent. Prof. Mark Howe is visiting Maastricht by invitation of memory researcher Henry Otgaar (CPS), who regularly works together with him. Last September, Otgaar received the Edmond Hustinx award and the lecture of Howe is sponsored by the Edmond Hustinx Foundation.
The lecture will take place in the Akenzaal on 30 November and will start at 11:00.
