European Business School Ranking 2010
8 December 2010
On 6 December 2010, the Financial Times (FT) published its European Business School Ranking 2010. SBE shares 51st place together with Vienna University of Business and Economics. The ranking combines evaluations of MBA programmes and executive MBA programmes with the earlier FT Masters in Management ranking, in which the SBE programme ‘Master in International Business’ scored a 25th place worldwide.
Unfortunately, not enough MBA and executive MBA alumni participated in FT’s survey for SBE to be included in the scores for these programme types. Next to the evaluations of the programmes, the ranking is also partially based on the following criteria: percentage of women within the faculty staff (16%), percentage of faculty staff whose citizenship differs from their country of employment (48%) and the percentage of faculty staff with a doctoral degree (76%).
This year SBE climbed one position compared to last year, when the European Business School Ranking was solely based on the results in the FT Master’s of Management Ranking 2009 and SBE scored 52nd place.
