Education Prize 2008

Every year, Maastricht University rewards a person or a group who has made an outstanding contribution to education at Maastricht University.

The nominations are based on a numer of criteria:

the contribution is a structural one;
the effort and involvement of those who made it can be called extraordinary or special;
the contribution in itself is interesting, inspiring and instructive for others, and may also serve as an example both within and outside the UM.
Staff and students alike may nominate people or groups. The deadline for this year’s nominations was November 28, 2008.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place during the Dies Natalis on Thursday January 8, 2009. Employees and students are all welcome to take part in this ceremony.
