Dr. Teun Dekker wins UCM teaching award

On July 2nd, during UCM’s summer graduation, Dr Teun J. Dekker was awarded the Best Teacher prize for 2010 by the College and Universalis, the college study association. Students made nominations which were considered by a committee of Universalis board members and the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Harm Hospers. In his speech, Dr. Dekker thanked students for the award, noting that teaching prizes are inherently superfluous, as teaching is the prize itself.
