"I got my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, but I wanted to get a master’s degree in Europe. When researching universities, I found Maastricht University, with its Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and English-language programmes, especially appealing. The university offered me a full Belden Company Scholarship, which covers my living costs and insurance, visa and partial tuition fees. I got acquainted with the company (a worldwide manufacturer of wire and cable products) early on and am now writing my thesis in collaboration with them.
