- Full-time master’s students: €1,672
- Part-time and dual master’s students: €1,177
Students from non-EU/EEA countries and EU/EEA students who do not meet the conditions:
- Full-time master’s students: €12,000
- Part-time and dual master’s students: €6,000
Students who are doing, or intend to do, a second Dutch master’s degree
Recently this year, the government has passed a bill that states that educational institutions may charge students who wish to apply for a second Dutch master’s programme (after having completed their first master’s degree) a higher tuition fee. Hereupon, the Executive Board has agreed on a generous transitional arrangement. Read more information about the terms of this arrangement.
The university is considering additional costs besides the regular tuition fees beginning in the 2011/12 academic year.
No rights may be derived from the fees published on this page. It is possible to pay tuition fees in instalments. Additional fees will be charged for the first instalment.
Living expenses
Your living expenses will depend on your individual lifestyle. We have estimated that an average student will spend about €853 per month on basic items. This does not include things such as mobile telephone costs or (sports) club memberships, etc.
Maastricht is relatively compact, so most students walk or cycle and spend little money on transportation.
