How to apply

To apply and register for a programme at Maastricht University, you will first need to apply via Studielink, the application portal for higher education in the Netherlands. After that you can apply directly to Maastricht University via the My UM portal. 

You can start your application through our bachelor's and master's admissions pages.

Need help with your application?

Our students are available to help you through the application process. There have been many changes in the application process with the introduction of the national application module, Studielink, and the introduction of a new application system at Maastricht University. Everything is being done to make these systems state-of-the-art, but there are still some glitches. Our students can guide you through the process and offer help if you get stuck.

We can also help you with questions about housing, or you can visit the website of Maastrichthousing.com, a portal for student housing.

We have a weekly schedule of times when you can contact us. The times vary so you can reach us if you're in a different timezone or if you have certain timeslots every day when you're not available.
