Your own club or student association?
In addition to studying, joining a student association and maybe working part-time, you may also want to do something with sport. Good idea! You could remain a member of your old, trusted sport club back home, but if you have moved to Maastricht to study this may not be possible or practical. More fun and good for your social life at university is to become a member of one of the 23 student sport associations or use the UM Sport facilities.
Sport Associations
You can register for a sport card at UM Sport and join one of the many UM student sport clubs. A wide variety of sports is on offer. Some sports are practiced on a small scale by only a small group of enthusiasts. Others are practiced by large numbers of students, at all levels of ability, from fun and recreational to top competitive levels.
