Join our workshop
UM Career Services provides workshops for students who are preparing for their future career. We offer you the possibility to share your expertise and experience in the field of business with them during our sessions. The our workshops are very practical with themes such as CV & Letter of application or Job Interview.
The workshops of Career Services are open to all Maastricht University students and Alumni. Most of our workshops are offered on a monthly basis and will be presented in Dutch as well as in English.
The advantages for your company
- Contact with students, perhaps your future employees.
- Name recognition. We can incorporate a text with a link to your company on the website information of the workshop that you are participating in.
- If you are willing to answer further questions from students, contact information can be included in the student workbook.
- Participation is free of charge
What will be your role?
- As a guest participant you will take seat in an existing workshop and will actively take part in the workshop. You will not have to prepare.
- You will receive the PowerPoint presentation in advance so that you’ll have an idea of the structure and content of the workshop.
- During the session you will be asked to comment from your (business) point of view. For example, we ask about your experience and knowledge on the selection of CV, application letters, networks etc.
- You can indicate how often you would want to participate and whether you want to attend Dutch or English spoken workshops.
- In the workshop there will be no possibility for company promotion talks and/ or recruitment.
