Alumni Fund

Education and research are no longer only the reponsability of the (Dutch) government. For revolutionay research and innovative education additional funds are a prerequisite. The University Fund Limburg, also referred to as the foundation of the Maastricht University concentrates on raising funds for challenging projects that can enhance the university’s social significance and contribute to an enterprising knowledge economy – regionally, nationally and internationally. For these fundraising activities the university fund is in touch with trade and industry, (semi)governmental institutions, individuals and alumni. For the latter, the Alumni Fund has been established,

Maastricht University alumni can make important financial and substantive contributions to the Alumni Fund projects. The fund mainly focusses on scholarships for ambitious and talented students and innovative brain research (Brains Unlimited).
