Pierre Kemp letter and manuscript collection
In 2002 Maastricht University acquired a series of letters that poet Pierre Kemp sent to Dr Harry G.M. Prick, former conservator of the Museum of Literature (Letterkundig Museum) in The Hague, between 28 January 1958 and 29 December 1966. The purchase also included a number of handwritten manuscripts and typescripts, as well as accompanying documents. In 2004 this collection was made accessible via an inventory by Frank Hovens [Dutch] [PDF].
In addition, the library had previously acquired on loan Pierre Kemp’s own home library and the festschrift that he received in honour of his 70th birthday from his many poet and artist friends.
The manuscripts and typescripts with accompanying documents, as well as the festschrift are also digitally available via the inventory.
