eLearning support
The University Library offers support in the setup, maintenance and use of Maastricht University’s (UM) electronic learning environment. For example, all faculties can request support and call upon our expertise and advice.
The library develops – often in cooperation with teaching staff – procedures and scenarios for eLearning applications in UM courses. Other forms of support include demonstrations, training sessions and courses. We also supply consultancy and policy support upon request.
Another library task is the dissemination of eLearning experiences within UM faculties and externally. Using EleUM and other resources, the library makes these experiences visible by category so that other users can search through them.
Each year, we organise several EleUM meetings to further explore and discuss the topic of eLearning. Reports of past meeting are available. Click on one of the years listed below for a report of that year’s meeting.
Theories, Tools & Practices
Another library task is the dissemination of eLearning experiences within UM faculties. The library makes these experiences visible by category so that other users both inside and outside the university can search through them. Our Theories, Tools & Practices site on the Library Wall offers an overview of practices used in the university, the theories behind those practices and experiences with elearning tools.
