Facilities for the disabled

Both the Inner City and the Randwyck Library are easily accessible for people with disabilities. You can reach almost all parts of the buildings using a lift. Both buildings also have a handicapped toilet.

Special study place

Both locations offer study places for people with disabilities, with electronically adjustable tabletops.

  • In the Inner City Library, you can find a special study place in zone C:
    - on level 1, near the information desk; and
    - on level 2, next to the Learning and Resource Centre’s law collection.
  • In the Randwyck Library, you can find this special study place on level 1.

A special sign indicates that users with a disability have priority for this study place.

Information and assistance

Library staff can offer you assistance if needed.

Parking space

• There is a special parking place at the Randwyck Library (Universiteitssingel 50).
• The library is still in negotiations with the Maastricht municipal council regarding a handicapped parking space at the Inner City Library (Grote Looiersstraat/Nieuwenhofstraat).
