About METEOR
METEOR (Maastricht Research School of Economics of Technology and Organizations) is the School’s graduate research school. It was established in 1994, and accredited by the Royal Dutch Academy of Arts and Sciences (Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen, KNAW) in 1997. The (mandatory) follow-up accreditation was received in 2002 and again in 2007.
Research within the faculty is mostly conducted within the framework of METEOR, whose mission is to generate and promote ideas that advance scientific economic and management knowledge and practices by (1) promoting and carrying out high-quality, internationally visible research in economics and business, and (2) offering graduate education.
