Master International Business in ranking Financial Times
This year the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Maastricht University participated in the Financial Times’ ranking for Masters in Management programmes for the first time. The programme in International Business scores an excellent 28th place in the top 40 of European institutes that offer such programmes. In the category ‘value for money’, FEBA even climbs to a staggering 3rd place.
Other areas in which the programme scores highly are ‘international staff’ (a 5th place with a score of 44%) and ‘number of graduates who have found a job outside of the Netherlands’ (8th place). In addition, the subcategories in the survey show that Maastricht alumni are ranked 2nd in the category ’top salaries in industry’ and 8th in the category ’top salaries in finance’ .
FEBA is pleased that many partner universities, such as Grenoble Graduate School of Business, Audencia Nantes, EDHEC Business School, ESC Rouen School of Management and Mannheim Business School, also receive excellent reviews. FEBA exchanges students at the bachelor’s level with these institutes, or cooperates at the master’s programme level.
The Financial Times ranking is based on two different surveys. First alumni were asked about their current job, employer, salary, and in addition career services and customer satisfaction. Second the faculty also submitted data concerning the number of foreign students and employees, language of instruction, international mobility, etc.
