The departments consists of the following three research groups:

• Mathematical Economics and Game Theory
• Operations Research

The research of the department of Quantitative Economics is a part of METEOR (Maastricht Research School of Economics of Technology and Organizations). METEOR is the Graduate Research School of the School of Business and Economics.
