Classroom
The Maastricht University School of Business and Economics (SBE) is not a campus-based Faculty. It is located in a single main building, which means that all offices, the lecture halls, about 90% of all tutorial rooms, and approximately 30% of all computer facilities are to be found in this building.
The library is a short 5-minute walk away. SBE is situated near the classrooms and facilities of all non-medical faculties of Universiteit Maastricht and to the language centre.
SBE is located in an “old” Jesuit monastery, built in 1923, very close to the famous “Vrijthof” in the inner city of Maastricht. In this building a Jesuit library - inherited by the University from the Jesuits - was incorporated.
The University has used the building since 1976.
