Behavioural Economics
Bridging the gap between economics and psychology
Behavioural Economics is a cutting-edge research topic. The department’s staff are active researchers at the forefront of their field. This gives you access to the most up-to-date theories, research papers and experiment results.
Behavioural experiments
The Behavioural Economics track is unique in that it allows you to perform behavioural experiments on your fellow students. This may sound a little unconventional! But it’s the best way to study how people behave in given situations. Having done so, you will look at the theoretical model that corresponds to this situation, and see whether it fits. Comparing theory with practice, discussing and debating whether the models work – this hands-on approach is integral to the track.
Behavioural Economics is a 1-year, full-time programme taught entirely in English. Graduates will a master's degree in International Economic Studies with a specialisation in Behavioural Economics.
