Supply Chain Management
People and products – key links in the supply chain
In a globalised economy, product development through to distribution is a truly international process. Competitive pressures also mean that the effectiveness of a company’s supply chain can mean the difference between success or failure. In this environment, it is essential to create value at every link in the supply chain, so that end users receive the products and services they want at a price they are willing to pay. The Supply Chain Management track thus devotes a great deal of attention to value creation. This means not only optimisation of purchasing, logistics and marketing processes; but also strategic cooperation with suppliers, distributors and customers.
Access to current theory and research findings
Supply chains are dynamic, changing entities, both in terms of the goods and services moving along them and the technology available to monitor them and communicate with external parties. It is thus vital that you have access to the most up-to-date information in this field. This track incorporates the most recent academic theory and operations research findings and case studies from our partner organisations Atlas-Copco, DSM, Rabobank, SABIC and UPS. This will give you a strong theoretical foundation and the opportunity to apply your knowledge to real-life problems.
Supply Chain Management is available as a 1-year, full-time programme or a 2-year, part-time programme. Courses are taught entirely in English. Graduates will receive a master's degree in International Business with a specialisation in Supply Chain Management.
