Business Research

Are you passionate about research? Take the smart route to your PhD!
How does Business Research differ from many of the other master’s programmes on offer? Business Research is one of two two-year research master’s programmes, which means that you’ll go into your chosen area of specialisation in more depth, especially in your second year. Your programme will be tailor-made to cover the business areas that interest you the most.

Research Assistant Grant
To lighten the financial burden of studying as well as to facilitate the transition from research master’s student to PhD candidate, Maastricht University School of Business and Economics offers Research Assistant positions for which you may receive a grant. You can apply for a Research Assistant position (and the grant) prior to the start of the second year of your MSc Economic and Financial Research.

Business processes meet academic research skills
The courses offered are relevant, current and at the forefront of today’s research. That’s because they’re taught by top researchers in those fields. Many of Maastricht University’s researchers are internationally renowned. Different courses are also offered in conjunction with other top universities and you’ll even be exposed to researchers from international institutions. All of this means you’re getting the best learning experience out there.

The master's programme in Business Research is a 2-year, full time programme taught entirely in English. Graduates will receive a master's in Business Research.
