Programme information
Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are just like big businesses – but smaller! That’s why this track allows you to specialise in SMEs, while still learning about the big picture. The track offers courses in strategy, organisation, marketing, finance and accounting while allowing you to put your skills to use in a real small business. It combines business theories with the opportunity either to set up your own student company or to assist the management team of an already-existing SME.
What will you learn?
The track will provide you with the strategic, financial and also creative skills required for setting up your own company or contributing to an existing small business.
At the end of the track, you will be able to:
• recognise business opportunities
• demonstrate managerial skills
• find relevant information in academic literature on entrepreneurship and SME management
• demonstrate practical experience through setting up your own student company or working with the management team of a real SME
