Experience Days at SBE

If after visiting an Open Day you want to find out more about a particular bachelor’s programme, you can sign up for an "Experience Day at SBE".

An "Experience Day at SBE" will allow you to get the real feel of the bachelor’s programmes. During this day you can experience, hands on and in a practical way, how it is to be a student at the School of Business and Economics of Maastricht University. You will find out more about the PBL (Problem Based Learning) system in your future study environment and see what it is like to work together with other students in a tutorial group. You will also get the chance to have in-depth discussions with tutors and can ask current students any questions you may have. The current SBE students will try to give you an accurate impression of student life in Maastricht, including a small city tour.

In addition to our regular Experience Day programme, we organize an extra programme Experience+ Day,  specifically for a certain amount of students! (for more information please click here)

Intended for?

The "Experience Day at SBE" is intended for prospective students who are seriously interested in the bachelor’s programmes of SBE and who have already attended an Open Day. There is limited space on each day. To attend an Experience Day at SBE you should:

• have already visited an Open Day at Maastricht University
• familiarised yourself with the programmes.
• be in your final year of high school
• be planning to  start your studies in September 2012

The procedure is as follows: after the deadline (14 days before the official day) you will be notified whether you can participate in the Experience Day. You must then confirm your participation within 5 days to reserve your place.

If you have not been granted a place in the Experience Day, you will also receive an email. You are then free to register for the next Experience Day.

The next Bachelor’s Open Day will be on Saturday, 17 November 2012.
