international Executive Master of Finance and Control (iEMFC)
Taking the international Executive Master's program of Finance and Control (iEMFC) will help you enhance your expertise and prospects. The program will suit you if you work for a corporation based in or with offices in the Netherlands or have important ties with firms based here. You should have experience of international financial practice and a Master's level background. It's international focus is particularly appropriate for "high potential expats. The programme is particularly relevant for young professionals with a master level background in finance, accounting, or information management. The benchmark is a Masters degree in business administration. Candidates will be selected on the basis of this minimal requirement. This implies that additional individual instruction and training may be required before enrolment. Candidates are invited to contact the programme management for a customized advice. In addition to these formal academic requirements, corporations employing candidates may have to state their official support.
The program starts in March of each year and covers 2,5 years. Each seminar takes two weeks and starts on Sunday with exams. Classes are on Monday till Saturday (9 hours a day). On the second Sunday there are no classes.
Classes are given in Maastricht (March – two seminars), USA (July – one seminar), China (July – one seminar). The location of the two November seminars will be determined per year.
The tuition fee for the iEMFC-programme is € 15.250 per annum, including conference facilities, lunches, 3 dinners per week, literature, examination and thesis fees, but excluding accommodation and travel expenses. Payment is required annually in advance, reimbursements only being made under very specific circumstances. Literature and additional course material will be handed out or mailed by the Programme Office.
