The tutorial group
Group processes play a major part in PBL. The aim of the tutorial groups, which change every block (approximately every eight weeks), is to encourage you and your fellow students to solve or explain problems, to specialise in a discipline and to develop skills. This method teaches you to work together with others and helps generate relationships that sometimes result in lifelong friendships. PBL is based on the principle that everyone takes an active part in the research and the discussions. In this way, you contribute to your own learning process and that of your fellow students. If this idea appeals to you, the interaction should inspire you to work hard and the results will speak for themselves.
