Credit transfer

If you have followed university or higher vocational education before, you may qualify for exemptions. This means you can use the results you obtained elsewhere for your programme at Maastricht University. The Education and Exams Committee of the programme you wish to take will determine whether this is possible in your case. The content and level of the course or subject for which you are applying for exemption is then compared with that of your previous programme. To make use of this possibility, you must submit a request for exemption to the programme’s Admission Board.

A request for exemption will only be taken into consideration when you are enrolled for the study programme in question.
