Non-degree seeking students

Are you interested in following one or more courses at the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience, but not registered as a university student? You can pay to take part in psychology courses as a non-degree seeking student (‘onderwijscontractant’). This means you are entitled to follow the agreed course(s) and take part in the relevant exam(s) on the basis of a contract drawn up to that effect. If you achieve a satisfactory result, the Examination Board can issue a statement indicating this. Please note, however, that following courses in this way cannot lead to the awarding of a degree.

You can find more information about fees and applications in the non-degree seeking student regulations (pdf, only in Dutch) or download the registration form (pdf, only in Dutch). The bachelor’s programme in Psychology is offered in Dutch. A number of courses are offered in English for exchange students. Non-degree seeking students who do not speak Dutch, will not be admitted to courses conducted in Dutch.
