Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience Graduate School
The Graduate School of the Faculty Psychology and Neuroscience is an umbrella organisation for all PhD students of the faculty. It now comprises 89 internal and over 50 external PhD students. The Graduate School aims to optimize education and training of the PhD students, to facilitate and monitor quality and progress of the research projects, and to form an inspiring community of PhD students.
The Graduate School is organized by Chantal Nederkoorn and advised by the Education Committee, with members from each department: Christine Resch (Neuropsychology and Psychopharmacology), Bram Fleuren (Work and Social Psychology), Tabea Kamp (Cognitive Neuroscience) and Jantine Boselie (Clinical Psychological Science).
Besides the membership of the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience Graduate School, PhD students can be affiliated to various institutions and research schools. Most courses provided by these institutes are also open to PHD students who are not a member of the particular schools and institutions.
In addition, the Career Center and the Language Center of Maastricht University offer various courses for PHD students. Next to this, all statistical classes taught at the faculty at bachelor’s, master’s and research master’s level are open to graduate students. PhD. theses by the students of the Graduate School of the Faculty Psychology and Neuroscience are uploaded to a public database. The Electronic Doctoral Theses database is updated yearly and can be accessed from any location.
