Short biography
I have a background in both economics and psychology. I have been a PhD candidate at the department of Organization and Strategy of the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics and I hold masters degrees in both Economics (International Management) and in Applied Cognitive Psychology. In my research I apply psychological constructs and theories to explain organizational phenomena. My research focuses on cognitive structures and processes, creativity, and routine development in teams as well as in systems consisting of multiple teams.
Research Interests:
- Teamwork under dynamic, stressful, and non-routine circumstances.
- Cognitive aspects of teamwork (shared mental models, team situation awareness, transactive memory systems).
- Routine development and adaptation in teams.
- Functioning of multi-team systems and other flexible organizational forms.
