FHML Honours Programmes

The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML) offers highly motivated students with grades above average the opportunity to participate in small-scale, individually guided research during the second and third year of the bachelor's programme.

Why an FHML Honours Programme?
The Honours Programmes are extracurricular programmes in English that offer a wider range of subjects and more in-depth knowledge. The programmes mainly take place in the evenings, in small groups, and allow for more personal contact with the teaching staff. The Honours Programmes are spread over years 2 and 3 and place high demands on the participating students. The total additional study load is 15 ECTS. After completing the programme succesfully with an English Honours thesis, the student is awarded an Honours Certificate.

FHML offers a challenging opportunity for talented and motivated bachelor students and these Honours students will reap the benefits for years to come by broadening their academic perspective.
