Student guidance and advice FHML
The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML) takes care of an active and professional student guidance and advice. The student advisor is usually the first to approach if you need information or advice about your study and studying at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences. In certain situations, the student advisor can refer to other contact persons within or outside the faculty. Information about specialists in student guidance, such as student deans, student psychologists and career advisors, you can find on the website of the Student Services Centre (SSC).
Professional student advisors are the persons to turn to when studies are not progressing as planned. They can also be regarded as coaches in the fields of study planning and study choices.
The student advisor is also the person you should inform about personal circumstances, that might cause study delay. It is important to notify these circumstances as soon as possible, as in some cases special arrangements can be made for examinations, finances, etcetera.
For prospective students it might me useful to approach a student advisor, for example if you cannot choose between several studies. Student advisors are able to determine together with a prospective student whether it is possible or wise to take certain decisions.
