ICT support
Internal PhD-candidates can receive ICT support from the ICT-office within SHE
for their PhD-project activities (word, powerpoint, spss, atlas-ti, etc.). They can consult the ICT staff members for help when they experience difficulties with their computer, but alsowhen they need to know more about certain applications to be used for their studies.
If very specific expertise is needed, it is possible to ask for advice from an external ICT agency. This should be done in collaboration with the ICT specialist within SHE and it is of course also important to specify the costs in advance in the PhD-budget. If external PhD-candidates need ICT-support, they need to pay extra money for the support that they want to receive.
A laptop is available for PhD-candidates who are employed within the Department of Educational Development and Research if they go abroad. It is important to make areservation in time at the office of the secretaries of SHE.
