Tom de Goeij is coordinator of the construction and implementation of the year 1 programme of the restructured medical curriculum (1988 - 1992). Programme leader of the inter-faculty Enviromental Health Sciences programme (1989 - 1992). Coordinator of the education programme for (150) PhD students of the Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences (1994-1997). Chairman of the Education Committee of the Faculty of Medicine (1995-1998). Member of the Board of Education, Faculty of Medicine (1995-1998). Consultant for PBL and curriculum reform. Chairman of the University Council (1998-2002). Present: international consultant on student-centred learning and integrated curricula.
