Application procedure
When applying for the Master of Health Professions Brasil (MHPE-Brasil) programme, you need to hand in the following documents:
- Application form
- Certified copies of all diplomas (bearing the seal of the school and signature of the head or registrar)
- TOEFL score (only internet-based and paper-based test)
- IELTS Test
- Copy of your carteira de identidade (or carteira de habilitacao)
- If not a citizen of Brazil enclose a copy of your passport
- Two passport sized photos
- Financial declaration to guarantee the tuition fee and living expenses.
The application form should be sent to the SHE secretariat by regular mail or email mhpe@maastrichtuniversity.nl. Furthermore a copy of the application should be send by regular mail or e-mail to professor Stewart Mennin spmennin@gmail.com
The deadline for entering the MHPE-Brasil programme is set on Monday 15 November 2010. Before this date the application form and all other information mentioned above should be received and approved by the MHPE office. The MHPE-Brasil programme starts on Monday 17 January 2011.
Review of the application form
After submitting the application form (and all required documents) to the SHE secretariat, your application will be reviewed by the Exam Committee. When the application form and all the required information has been received, potential students will receive a confirmation letter.
TOEFL/IELTS
The TOEFL score should at least be 550 on the Paper-Based test; or at least 80 for the Internet-Based test with a minimum of 20 per skill (reading, listening, speaking and writing). The IELTS test score should at least be 6,50.
The only exception to be considered will be a verified statement in writing that since primary school all education was given in the English language.
Letter of acceptance
Potential students are notified of the decision via an official letter.
