Faculty Introduction Master

The Faculty Introduction is an introduction to studying at your faculty. You will meet your fellow students and you will be provided with information about the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences, how the faculty is organised, the building in which you will be studying, the teaching system (Problem-Based Learning) and the study materials you need.

Please note: all new master's students at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences are obliged to participate in the Faculty Introduction. Absence is only accepted when a valid reason is provided.

Registration Faculty Introduction

It is required that you formally register for the Faculty Introduction by completing our online registration form. In case you are not able to participate, you also have to complete this form to indicate your absence and the reason for not participating.

The date(s) and location of the Faculty Introduction vary per master's programme. Click on your master's programme for more information and a detailed programme.

Additional programme for international master's students (EU and non-EU)

The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences also organises an additional (evening) programme for our new international master's students (EU and non-EU). Unlike the Faculty Introduction on 1 September, this programme is NOT obligatory. The faculty wants to make our international students feel at home in the Netherlands and the city of Maastricht, and therefore organises this additional programme. The programme includes a mix and mingle with fellow international students, a workshop on "Dutch and Maastricht culture", a BBQ and a pub crawl (optional).
