International experience
Members of the Research Master in Health Sciences staff have held visiting professorships across Europe and are internationally renowned for their research work and teaching skills. Visiting lecturers, scholars and professors are regularly asked to present guest lectures and lend their expertise to research and student projects.
As birthplace of the European Union, Maastricht symbolises internationalism. It is home to a large number of international scientific and research institutes and is located at an international crossroads between the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Roughly 25% of the students in the Research Master in Health Sciences programme come from outside the Netherlands. Such diversity creates an international atmosphere that is strengthened by the pan-European orientation of the curriculum.
The language of instruction for the programme is English, the most widely used international language. For students who are non-native English-speakers, the programme’s English language curriculum will strengthen your command of the English language and prepare you for a career in an international environment.
Study abroad
