Career opportunities
Once you have successfully completed the master’s programme you will be qualified as a Medical Doctor (MD). After the master’s you can specialise in, for example:- General Practice (three years)
- Psychiatry (five years)
- Paediatrics (six years)
- Surgery (six years)
- Sports medicine (four years)
- Occupational health care (four years)
You can also choose to work as a scientific researcher. Research among alumni shows that almost everyone finds paid employment within one year after their MD qualification. In view of the recent developments in society and healthcare, employment prospects for newly-minted MDs are only improving.
