Accreditation

On January 10, 2008 the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organisation (NVAO) has made a positive decision about accreditation of the Maastricht MHPE-programme. The process of accreditation involved an application document and visitation by a panel of independent experts.

The panel advised positively on all aspects of the programme: 

• goals
• programme
• staff
• facilities
• internal quality control
• continuity

NVAO's board has followed the panel's advice. This decision implies that graduates from the renewed MHPE-programme, which started in June 2006, are entitled to carry the degree Master of Science (MSc).
