Admissions

Applicants must have one of the following:
  • a bachelor’s degree
  • a bachelor’s degree
  • a bachelor’s degree from one of the Europea Union (EU) member states Higher Educational Programmes (HBO, Fachhochschule, University of Applied Sciences) in one of the following disciplines:
    • Dietetics
    • Oecotrophology
    • Nutrition
    • Food Technology
    • related discipline. The relevant programme runs for at least four years the equivalent of nominal study time (for example, Dutch: 240 ECTS, Flemish: 180 ECTS, German: 180 ECTS).

Please note that an entrance interview with the Board of Admission can be part of the selection procedure. The Board of Admission may impose additional requirements for admission to the master’s programme.

Applicants, who are non-native speakers of English and have not obtained an English-taught bachelor, must also submit proof of having participated in the IELTS test and a score (not older than five years at the commencement date of the programme) equal to or higher than 6.5. Instead of the IELTS test proof of having participated in a TOEFL test and a score (not older than five years at the commencement date of the programme) equal to or higher than 575 (paper based), 232 (computer based) or 90 (internet based) will be accepted.
