The world around us never stops changing. New medical problems arise as scientific developments continue their fast march ahead both nationally and globally. If you opt for Maastricht University’s bachelor's programme in Medicine, you embark on a programme oriented towards the future.

As from the academic year 2011-2012, Medicine has started a new bachelor curriculum resulting in competent doctors in a dynamic and globalising world. The curriculum change will be introduced gradually: starting in year 1 in 2011-2012, and year 2 in 2012-2013, ending with year 3 in 2013-2014.

The bachelor’s in Medicine is a three-year programme taught in Dutch.
