PhD training programmes
PhD training programmes are generally unpaid training programmes requiring yearly tuition. Students are required to take a number of courses, in addition to writing a PhD dissertation.
PhD training programmes are offered through Maastricht University’s graduate schools, research institutes and research schools. These programmes also include a number of courses that PhD candidates can take both as a part of their training programmes and as optional short courses.
The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences / Maastricht UMC+ believes that fundamental research is very important for the development of modern society. Although research conducted at our faculty is driven by scientific curiosity, the findings often prove to be very valuable. The provided education is directly influenced by the results of the research. The starting point is an inspirational surrounding wherein researchers and students are able to establish their talent to a maximum.
