Organisational structure
De following pages give an overview of the organisational structure at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
The board of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is composed of the dean (chair) and two members of the academic staff, one of whom is responsible for research, the other for education. The board is responsible for the general management of the Faculty. Its competences are laid down in the Faculty regulations (Art. 2.3).
The Faculty Council is an elected council composed of ten members. The Council makes proposals and clarifies standpoints on all matters related to the Faculty.
The Office of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences supports both the primary tasks (i.e. education and research) and the administrative processes.
