Career Prospects
The GDS master's programme prepares its graduates for two types of career paths.
- Part of them will opt for an academic career and will compete for a PhD position at FASoS’s Graduate School or at another (Dutch or foreign) university.
- Others will be employed by public, private or non-governmental institutes and think tanks at the national, European or transnational level.
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of Maastricht University has excellent contacts both in the academic and professional world to prepare the MA GDS students for their future careers.
