Arts and Sciences
This one-year programme is offered in both English and Dutch. A description of the Dutch language track, 'Master Cultuur- en Wetenschapsstudies', is available in the Dutch section of the website.
The master's programme in Arts and Sciences will give you the tools to analyse debates about culture and politics, and help you to develop insights into the various interrelations of culture, science, and politics, and the ways in which scholars, cultural practitioners, and researchers engage in contemporary society.
This interdisciplinary master's programme has a strong theoretical orientation.
Important: Please note that this master's programme will be split into two master's programmes as of September 2012: MA Art, Literature and Society and MA Politics and Society. More information on these programmes will be available on our website soon.
