The course is designed for students and practitioners interested in the dynamics of decision making at different scales of organization and in varying contexts. It introduces the participants to the fundamentals of policy and institutional analysis in the public, private, and non-profit sector organizations.
The participants will gain in-depth appreciation of different methods, theories, and practical tools to deconstruct complex policy choice problems in different settings and to identify and evaluate viable policy alternatives.
Apart from the regular ESST programme, this postgraduate Distance Learning Course is developed for professionals who already have been working in the field for some time. This target group should be able to take part in the course, no matter place or time. Therefore, visiting Maastricht University will not be required.
