English language requirements

English is the language of instruction in all programmes. As the Problem Based Learning method requires active participation of students in group meetings, it is of the utmost importance that you have a good working knowledge of English. This means that you must be able to read the required literature, to participate in tutorial group discussions, and to take written and oral examinations.

If English is not your native language, you are required to submit a TOEFL test score with a minimum result of 550 points (paper-based version), or 79 (internet-based), or an IELTS test with a minimum score of 6.0.

If you do not have an official test document (e.g. IELTS or TOEFL result), you need to ask your home university for a written and signed confirmation that you have a good command of English. You need to submit one of these documents with your on-line application.
