Curriculum vitae
Yvonne Walhof (1962) is in 2005 afgestudeerd in het Nederlands Recht aan de Universiteit Maastricht (cum laude). Zij heeft na haar rechtenstudie gewerkt in de advocatuur en in het notariaat (specialisatie ondernemingsrecht). Sinds 2007 is zij als docent verbonden aan de Universiteit Maastricht en sinds 2008 tevens als gastdocente aan de Universiteit Hasselt.
Onderwijservaring aan de Universiteit Maastricht:
• Inleiding privaatrecht;
• Inleiding ondernemings- en faillissementsrecht;
• Goederenrecht;
• Insolventierecht;
• Introduction to European company law;
• Comparative contract law;
• Rechtshandeling (oud curriculum);
• Onrechtmatig gedrag (oud curriculum).
Onderwijservaring aan de Universiteit Hasselt:
• Inleiding privaatrecht, onderdeel onrechtmatige daad (naar Belgisch recht);

Vóór haar rechtenstudie heeft Yvonne in uiteenlopende functies gewerkt bij onder meer KPN Telecom, de OESO (Organisatie voor Economische Samenwerking en Ontwikkeling), VNO-NCW West en de Open Universiteit Nederland. Yvonne heeft ook geschiedenis gestudeerd aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam (1988).
Curriculum Vitae (English)
Yvonne Walhof (1962) studied Dutch law at Maastricht University (2005: cum laude). After working as a lawyer for 2 years, she became lecturer at the University Maastricht (2007) and guest lecturer at the University Hasselt (2008).
Her teaching experience at Maastricht University includes:
• Introduction to Dutch private law;
• Introduction to Dutch company and insolvency law;
• Dutch property law;
• Dutch insolvency law;
• Introduction to European Company law;
• Comparative contract law;
• Legal acts (old curriculum);
• Tort law (old curriculum).
Her teaching experience at Hasselt University includes:
• Introduction to Belgium private law, in particular tort law;
• Skills training comparative law.
Before studying law Yvonne worked several years for different companies and organizations such as KPN Telecom, the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development), VNO-NCW West and the Dutch Open University. She also studied History at the University of Amsterdam (1988).
