Curriculum vitae
Marcel Schaper (1983) graduated in 2006 from Maastricht University. As from September 2006 he is a junior researcher at the Department of Tax Law. His PhD project focuses on the system and principles of the constitutional legal tax order created by EU law. As a tutor, Marcel is involved in various courses of the tax curriculum and supervises thesis students. He was a member of the University Council from 2007 until 2009. He is a PhD fellow of the Ius Commune Research School and is also the Maastricht representative in the school’s PhD Council.
