Expertise and Curriculum vitae
Michele Panzavolta’s main research interests are in the fields of European criminal law, criminal procedure and fundamental rights. He holds a degree in law from the University of Bologna and a PhD from the University of Urbino. Prior to his appointment as lecturer in Maastricht he has been post-doctoral research fellow and contract researcher at the University of Bologna, lecturer on contract at the University of Urbino, visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge and visitor at the Max Planck Institut für ausländisches und internationales Strafrecht. He is a member of the Bar association of Bologna in Italy.
